Our Founder
Douangmany “Toukta” Heuangkhamsene
Toukta is the founder of Her Works and the Creative Director behind YAIMAII; building a new model of empowerment fashion rooted in Lao craftsmanship, cultural respect, and modern everyday design.
With over a decade of experience in design and social enterprise, Toukta’s work connects traditional Lao textiles and women’s handicraft traditions to contemporary lifestyles and global markets. She leads cross-cultural teams of artisans, designers, and storytellers to create products that are functional, beautiful, and ethically grounded; honoring cultural roots while meeting modern quality standards.
